Endure to the End

Matthew 24:10-13 (NKJV)

10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

It is without a doubt that we live in a world that is filled with tragedy, destruction, hurt, and many times chaos. We live in a GREAT Country and to this very day I will proclaim that this is the greatest Country in the World to live in. So many have fought and sacrificed for us to live freely in this great nation. There have been generations of blood shed and lives laid down in the line of duty for our freedoms in America, forever we are indebted for there bravery and sacrifices.

Today, and over the past few weeks if you have watched the current events around this nation, we have observed chaos, disorder, and division. With this in mind, I want to give you a few important things that as a Christian… YOU MUST remember and understand.

First, God has a plan.

Second: We are Christians, which means “Followers of Jesus”.

The Word of God declares that Jesus will come back for “those who eagerly wait for him” (Hebrews 9:28). I can ensure you that nothing that is happening anywhere around the word has taken God by surprise…

Third, Satan is like a “roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

As Christians we MUST stay focused!

With this thought the Word of God reminds us in Colossians 3:2, that we are to “Set your minds on the things that are above, not on things that are on earth” (ESV).

In the first scripture that I shared with you here, Matthew 24, it states “the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end” (Matthew 24:12-13).

Satan wants to knock you off track, Satan wants to fill your head with lies, Satan wants to destroy you Family, to destroy your church, and wants to destroy your life.

In fact, Satan is like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour…

Don’t let that be you…

No matter what happens in this world (past, present, or future) we are brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. If you are Saved and have a personal relationship with Jesus, and you have asked Jesus into your heart and to forgive you of your sins… you have a Heavenly Home that is awaiting your arrival. Do Not… Do Not… let Satan fool you, trick you, or tell you otherwise!

As brothers and sisters in Christ, we must continue to love one another and stand strong together. Together we can “endure to the end”. There will be times where things are at an all times best in live and in this world, however there will also be times where things will be at there worst. No matter what we face… WE are truly, BETTER TOGETHER. We must stick together. A sheep is in grave danger when it is outside of the flock.

I want to encourage you today as a follower of Jesus, a Christian, to stay focused on the things “above”. One day, in God’s timing we will all be walking the streets of God.

-Don’t let your love grow cold…
-Don’t be “offended” …
-Don’t betray one another…
-Don’t be deceived…

Stay Focused, Stay Together, and Endure.

You are loved.
I love you and Jesus loves you.

Blessings,
Pastor Jonathan Pannell
