The Road is Not Always Easy.....

Life defiantly has its challenges and we are all aware of that... Some of us at times face more than others, and some journeys are more intense than others. We all know the story of Job, Job was referred to as "a perfect and upright man" a man the feared God... Vs. 6 in Job chapter one interests me as it states that when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord that Satan also came... How many time do you feel when you get up on Sunday morning that the enemy is just riding your back? Even on your ride in, until the time that you make it to the church you feel defeated from the start... Trust me it has even happened to me before...

Just like with Job, he gave it his best but the enemy still planned an attack against him. God had protection around Job and his family, but Satan had a plan to bring him down. Satan said to the Lord if you would just "let me" I will make him curse you... The thing about Job and what makes his story so great is that he stood strong, and he endured. Job's obstacles to us may seem a little intense, or we might even say that there is absolutely no way that we could handle that. But, the thing is... Job did. He pushed through. We have to understand that the road is not going to always be easy and we are going to, yes going to face tough times. Let's be realistic here at times its safe to say, life sucks. BUT GOD, is always there, and always gives us joy and strength we just have to draw near to Him and to seek His face even in our greatest times of need. It's easy to balm God, even to curse God. And that was Satan's plan he wanted Job to quit and to curse God for the heartaches. Remember this, Satan went to God and asked God... asked God to let down the hedge so he could get to Job, and God gave Satan a boundary line... What you need to remember is that GOD, HE is STILL in control! NOT SATAN...

How easy  is it that we make it on the enemy, for many we give up without a fight at all. You have heard the saying, "if you can't take the heat, stay out if the kitchen..." Serving Jesus, is tough, it is life changing, but the rewards... they are eternal. When the enemy give you his best shot, either through your family, your friends, your church... or anywhere else in your life, would you be willing to take the heat? Remember the road is not always easy...But the travel is well worth the journey...

Job 1

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
